i used this helpful calculator to help determine how much to cast on and decrease. i also used a single crochet to join these and make the tie. a couple triangles have some eyelets added but i think they turned out a bit wonky, i need to fix that! oh and i knit them in garter stitch with a knit 2 tog for decreases.
