This is my first hat. Knit in the round using some sort of dark grey pure wool from my mother’s stash … thick, but not chunky wool (no label, but she only used pure, always slightly scratchy wool). I knit rather tightly, and the hat turned out just a smidgeon too big for my 14-year old son. It’s very warm, great for Canadian winters, and I love it :D
