English pattern is being tested in Lindas group now.

My pictures show both “broken” cable nearest v-neck and the two cables kept live up to shoulder.

The dec for v-neck will interfear with the cable nearest neck.
With permission from Linda I tested how to keep the 2 cables all the way up to shoulder.

Notes for the fronts to keep two of the cables go up to shoulder;
when dec for v-neck interfear with cable nearest v, I did this in the 3 purl section: purl 1, purl 2 sts tog, M1purl, knit in pattern to end.
When all of the dec for v-neck was done I had 3 sts too many according to pattern but crucial to have those to keep both cables intact.
I knit up to shoulder measurement according to pattern and at the same row I gather cable I also dec the 3 stitches too many like this;
On purl section nearest sleevehole, purl2tog, on purl section between cable, purl2tog and on purl section nearest v-neck, purl2tog.

The buttons, chosen by Wilma Lind herself, are white :)

Yarn usage for size M; 473 grams weighed with buttons sewed on.
