I am so happy and surprised about how this turned out once finished. Soft and lightweight. I will not block it partly because of the ruffels, partly because I will use it wrapped three times around my neck.

This is the third of my finished 11 shawls in 2011.
This was supposed to be an alma ella shawl, but is not even close.
I totally lost count when I started this one due to loss of consentration as I was watching a film during casting on! I got more than 900 sts!
Quickly I made my mind up to heavily modify the pattern.

Finished it is supersoft. Love the texture of the silk/woll from Holst! It is super light, and weighs only 70 grammes, so I used approx 450 yards.
