Notes

The first photo is my vision for this project. :) I want pearl buttons and a soft pink fabric and tulle flower on the side.

I want to try the garter ridges, neck edge, sleeve edges, and hem in k1p1 rib. My first 6 rows are k4, rib, k last 4.

The rib worked out great! I just replaced the garter stitches with rib everywhere except the button band. It totally changed the look of the cardigan! I shortened the cardigan a bit from what the pattern says too. Under the arms I knit about 1 3/4” then did 1” of ribbing to finish. It looks so sweet! Now to weave in the two ends, sew on the buttons, and make a flower and dress to go with it! I wrote up the pattern for the matching bonnet, it can be found here http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/wee-newborn-fairy...
