I loved these booties but I wanted to use a worsted weight yarn and I needed a newborn size. I changed the needle size to a 6 (I used an 8 to bind off), followed the directions for a size “preemie medium”, and they turned out perfectly! I also changed the ribbed band to a garter stitch so that I could roll them down. I’m a beginner and I think this may be my new go-to bootie pattern. :) Next I’m going to try them with the same size needle in the “preemie large” size, hopefully they will fit my 3 month old!
