Notes on My So-Called Handmade Life.

Feb 17- Buttons finally sewed on. Guess I wasn’t as anxious as I thought.

Dec 13- its blocking and I’m so anxious to get those buttons on it.

Dec 12- BO sleeves and see that the hem of sweater curls up too much so I’m pulling out garter st hem to replace with rib st. (like Daicheng did here). Otherwise it seems to fit. Not sure if I’ll have any gaps at buttonband until I sew some buttons.

Oct 26- scratch that! My gauge was less on track than I thought. Ripping back and starting over with smallest size at 5.5 stitches per inch- one st less than called for. We’ll see…
