Made this hat for my 5 year old - kept pattern the same - just used sport weight yarn, and went down a hook size from the pattern to make it a tad smaller. Used Bernat Sweet Stripes yarn to get the stripes vs. changing colors :) Happy how this came out! Emily wears it all the time!
