34” square. for the edging, I worked the first part in medium gray, then worked one K round in blue and finished with applied i-cord.

9-5-15 - the seaming wasn’t too bad, the edging went pretty quick, but the ends…oh my! happy that’s over and really delighted with the finished results. his birthday party is next weekend - hope to have a few photos to share after that.

8-28-15 - the squares are all done…the sewing begins.

8-16-15 - eleven and a half done! (I’m counting the squares as 60% of the project…hope I’m not deceiving myself that the sewing up and border is “only” 40% of the effort ;-)

8-8-15 - six and a half squares done!

8-4-15 - sticking with the brighter blue. and picking up the project again after a long hiatus - the birthday is less than six weeks away!

6-17-15 - two squares done; auditioning a lighter blue for the “pop”…still not sure!
