2-23-15 - …and done! it’s a little over 60” around (hence the 7 yards of Cocoon I have leftover; I’d planned to knit to the end). I closed with a 3-needle bindoff and didn’t block it. if I knit it again - which I might since I have enough of the Uluru to make one almost as long - I’d do the provisional cast on and work only one row (so two rows of “MC” total) before joining the CC. And I’d end after one row of MC and then work the bind-off. …as I type this I think I could even switch to the CC after just the cast-on. All that said, the cast-on/bind-off is at the back of my neck, covered by another layer of the cowl. No one knows. and no one cares!
