12-8-15 - done! (well, except for blocking). for the bind-off, I did k2tog TBL with a size 5 needle. seems just the right amount of stretch…guess blocking will tell.

11-20-15 - nearly done with the first Alpaca Merino 2 band (have decided to knit through one skein and call it done - expect it to be about 6” wide). I worked the middle section to about 80”; picked up ~435 st for the contrast band.

swapped out the Spinni for a more neutral palette. think I’ll wear it more (bottom photo is what I originally planned).
