it’s HUGE, but really lovely! finished size is 60” wide and 33” deep at the middle (so not quite a half-circle, but close). I’m glad I omitted that one clue #4 repeat or it would be even longer.

7-24-15 - and done (well, bound off on the 22nd, blocked the 23rd and photographed today!). I had 38 grams left, so clue 6 used 29 grams.

7-11-15 - finished clue 5; I have 67 g of yarn left (clearly won’t run out…and now I’ll have a lot leftover!). note that I added the 3rd 50 g skein near the beginning of clue 5, so it took almost 40 g of yarn!

6-27-15 - finished clue 4 with a bit of skein #2 left; I only did 4 whole repeats (one less than the pattern stated) to be sure I won’t run short of yarn.

6-22-15 - picked up an extra skein of the ivory…if I can get the whole shawl done with that one color, I think it would be stunning. and I finally finished clue 3.

6-9-15 - finished clue 2. LOVE the lace. and I love the fabric…but wow, I wonder how big it’s going to be!

6-2-15 - settled on Ivory for the MC. First clue went quickly…and I love the lace in that light color.

6-1-15 - re-purposing yarn from my just-frogged Crackerjack scarf. I have 2 skeins of each color, but think I’ll need 3 of the MC. Will check stock at the shop this afternoon to see what’s available. and then decide MC/CC so I can cast on.
