3-16-15 - added modeled photos. I think the blue really is that blue!

took almost two days to dry! I asked Instagram for input on ribbon/buttons. Ended up using pale blue ribbon and light wood buttons.

followed pattern exactly as written for cardigan with seed stitch hem and hood except I replaced CDD on the hood with SSK/K2Tog worked at the center (I didn’t have an odd number of stitches on the hood, so CDD didn’t make sense to me) and I worked a 3-needle bindoff to seam the hood. I like having that seam down the middle of the hood!

this is an extremely well-written pattern; look forward to many more versions as Charlie grows!

note body used all but 9g of the first ball; sleeves used 29g and hood used 41g. not sure why my yardage was so much short of the pattern estimates, but I’m not complaining.
