Pattern Notes
There seems to be some issue on gauge since the published pattern and my original numbers don’t exactly agree. The stitch pattern does have some stretch to it and the garment can be worn with up to 4” negative ease.
One thing I’m certain, the yoke is very pretty! if you like this design, why not give it a try…Working on it is both enjoyable and challenging because every round is different. I really found it hard to take breaks while making this, it is so engaging. When you come to the part of shaping the underarm, it is not that difficult either. I think my pattern is clear enough on that part. I also think that if you’ve made a top-down garment before, this would not be much of a challenge. Main body stitch counts can be modified according to body shape/size…You can try it on as-you-go, maybe add or subtract stitches, or, add or subtract rounds.

Project Notes
Dec. 10 - mailed the sample by EMS with fingers crossed…post office get tons of mail on Christmas season!
Dec. 12 - editing the pattern word for word, at the same time crocheting another sample (at least to finish just the first half) in the bigger size range, while at the same time drawing the stitch diagram rnd by rnd.
(I have done a load of laundry for my son this morning, done some cleaning, did some exercise, made meals from scratch; I think I could still accomplish much for this project today.)
Dec. 14 - I’m afraid that my written pattern is getting too long…
Dec. 17 - still working on the pattern…5 sizes, mental torture!
Dec. 19 - Finished the pattern! - have to double-check
Dec. 20 - project sample is still in transit…tracking has no update since Dec. 11! So frustrating!
Dec.22 - package delivered! Yay!
