My friend Steve (who I love extra for this) got me this yarn in his travels to Chicago a few weeks ago. I’ve been wanting to make this shawl for some time. It seemed fitting that this yarn be used for this project.

I loved making this piece. It’s beautiful in its simplicity. I will undoubtedly be making another at some point.

My pictures of this piece are crap because I took it off my blocking mats when it was dark. I couldn’t wait to send my friend a pic. I will post better ones later when I have better light.

I tried to take a better picture in the day time and it’s still horrible. The colors in this piece are ever-changing. In some light, it’s orange and blue and in other light, it’s pink and blue.
