Sweater #7 of 12 in 2012.

7/26/12 - swatching…24 sts on 5s, going with this instead of the recommended 25 sts.

8/4 I am thinking I might frog this and use Debbie Bliss yarn instead, much softer than the Knit One Crochet One’s Creme Brulee (which is what I swatched with) and washable too. Thinking….

8/5 Frogged the Creme Brule. Starting over with the DB Baby Cashmerino. Went down a needle size. I think this will be much better for the baby.

8/12- Finished the back, knit the front and then frogged the front because I didn’t like how the intarsia looked ( a little sloppy).

8/14- done front and back and seaming. Will pick up for neckline/arms tomorrow. The intarsia is really better suited to woolier yarns, not great for the Snuggle Bamboo + Baby Cashmerino, but the colors and softness of this little vest are perfect.

8/16- Done. Cute. Blocking.

8/18- Yikes!! I can’t get it over my baby’s head! Originally I picked up 80 stitches. After ripping out the collar, I picked up 98 stitches, and it fits with room to spare.
