Using stash yarn to make Sweater #3 (of 12 in 2012.

Started out using size 5s, but my gauge loosened up to much while knitting. Frogged it after knitting down to the separation for sleeves. And started over using 3s.

Love Alana’s patterns. So clearly written, rather idiot-proof, which I need right now (preggo brain + distraction of toddler = not all there).

My daughter will be 3 in 2 months, is extremely tall (97%ile) but is pretty slim (chest = 20.5 inches). So I made the size 3, but knit to the length of size 4 (it is only an inch more).

Very happy with how this turned out. Although I won’t be buying this yarn again. It is soft, and pretty, but the plies snagged so easily on just about anything. Used much less than 3 skeins, my scale broke so I have yet to weigh the garment and share an accurate yardage total.
