Cable cast on - Russian bind off
• Square #1 : Ginette Belanger’s blackberry or trinity stitch (point d’astrakan) (2009-02-20/2009-02-22) I learned and loved the trinity stitch to my surprise, though not given time to “rest” on the wrong side.
• Square #2 : Barbara Selesnick’s heart lockets (cœurs en médaillon) (2009-02-22/2009-09-24) I had to pay extra attention for the row at the top of the heart.
• Square #3 : Hanna Burns’ science and faith (science et foi) also called the DNA square (2009-02-25/2009-03-02) Not an easy one in my humble opinion, following the different charts with different row counts is a little tricky. Trinity stitch again and a different way to cable the DNA vs the DNA scarf.
• Square #4 : Julie H. Levy’s (2009-03-02/2009-03-05) without the bobbles.
• Square #5 : Barbara McIntire’s (2009-03-15/2009-03-17) Love love love those cables and the way they turned out. Easier than Hanna Burns’ for instance.
• Square #6 : Janet Martin’s fish and net (2009-05-06/2009-05-14) Very fun and inventive. Made a little modification : the net is looser on the front of the fish
• Square #7 : Susan Rainey’s aran sweater (2009-05-18/)
2009-05-20 the square part is finished waiting for 3.75 mm needles to come in the mail 2009-05-23 the needles arrived yeah ! 2009-05-25 Finished all the knitting, will sew the arms on later.
So far, the cutest block.
• Square #8 : Dagmara Berztiss’ (2009-05-25/2009-06-02)
• Square #9 : Ann Strong (2012-12-03/2012-12-08) : starting to work on this again as the knitinmarseille group is having a kal :-)
