I am still working on my fruit and colouring in theme, but I added a little twist to this bag. The apple pie idea seemed a perfect way to complete the bag, because my mother-in-law likes baking!

I crocheted the fruit and the pie, using my own hand drawn templates. I like to embroider on top of the crocheted fruit shapes to blend in the colours. The blank apple was crocheted in the same yarn as the background and the blank leaves were embroidered directly onto the crocheted background.
