Notes

Laxá is an Icelandic salmon river. Lax is salmon, the á signifies a river. While these aren’t salmon colored, it’s close enough for me to use the name. :)

Began the right sock in the evening of 9/9 on 3s, tore out a bunch and redid the river pattern because I misread things.

9/10 I tried the first on and it was too big so I frogged it and restarted on 2s. Finished the right sock on 9/11.

Began left sock on 9/11.

9/12 - I’m on to the foot of the left sock now, but have things to do today, so they may not be done tonight. We shall see.

9/14 - Finished these just after midnight, so sock two took a bit longer than sock one. Oh well. Will update photos later! :) I probably should have made the foot a bit shorter as they don’t point like they should and are slightly baggy… They’re warm and comfy though, so I can’t really complain. All my socks seem to be slightly baggy…

I love this yarn. It’s soft and comfy. There are little bits that poke (linen fibers maybe?) but I got some out and the others you can’t feel when the socks are on.
