This is the next crazy hat that Adam has requested. He fell in love with it when I showed him the picture from ravelry and has been pestering me since December with weekly phone calls to check on the hats progress.

This hat is so fussy. There are so many ends to weave in and so much seaming that finishing it is a pain in the ass. It looks good which is nice, but the finishing instructions, especially for attaching the ears aren’t that clear--some more photos would have been helpful. The first picture is of me wearing it, pre-blocking, and the last ones are of my roommate. You have to have a pretty narrow head for this to fit, if you have a round-shaped head beware.

I was inches away from the end of the yarn by the time I had finished all the seaming and everything. If you want to be safe you should really buy two balls.
