This hat took a lot longer than I thought it would. I thought since it was just a simple rib pattern it would go quickly, but then I realized that it was 8 inches of ribbing on #4 needles… Takes a while. Then, I thought I’d be able to go faster when I got to the decreases, but these decreases are hard to work (especially because my DPNs were dull bamboo ones) so that dragged too. Anyway I’m done now (just over a week) and only 4 days late for Valentines Day… At least I had a back up present to give so I wasn’t late.
