Took some updated photos 6 years later. The heels definitely show some wear if you look at them up close, but these have been absolute workhorse winter socks. They’ve held up to years of machine washing (on delicate) and still show no signs of wearing through at the toes, balls, or heels!

They are not the softest socks I’ve ever knit, but I’ve had plenty of socks wear through in ⅓ the time. I can wear them inside my boots all day in the winter and I put them on in the house all year round if the AC is blowing too much.
