I test knit one of the child sizes for Setfanie Japel then I stuck it in my closet and forgot to enter it into my projects after she got the pattern updated and ready to go… Here it is after a month in the closet.

The patter is quick and easy to follow. The small circumference of the sleeve was a bit tedious to work because of the seed stitch, but other than that it was great. I would definitely knit this again if I knew someone with kids.

The yarn is not ideal for the pattern. It is nubbly on its own, so the seed stitch and the cables don’t stand out that well, but it hangs and drapes well. If I make this again I will be sure to make it in a “smoother” yarn.
