Notes

Using silver lined amethyst beads.
12/27 almost done. The last half is on the blocking board. Lace is never done until its blocked. OMGX24!!! This is absolutely stunning. Loved the way this yarn is blocking out. It’s going to be huge, even with lace on 2 needles.

I almost had a heart attack on day 18 dropping the stitches, worried that it may not stop. There are a few errors in the pattern, most are easy to figure out, some I had to go to the group postings.

The yarn is perfect for this pattern. So soft, a little halo, but still has a sheen from the silk. I did have some splitting, Next time I’ll probably use a more pointed needle.

Pictures coming after blocking complete.

9/07 This won second place at The State Fair of Texas in the Lace Division.
