Glorious! I fell hook, line and sinker for ittybitty’s Bulle http://www.ravelry.com/projects/ittybitty/bulle and decided to knit this pattern for my daughter whilst we were on holiday near Guérande in Brittany this summer.
It is hard to capture the depth of the Delft blue Quince & Co. yarn which suits my Angélique’s eyes perfectly.

It is a very easy knit indeed and a well-written pattern which I purchased in English. My guage may have been a little tight as usual for after starting the 3/4 year sized Bulle for my tall two and a half year old, I hastily frogged it and opted for the 5/6 year old size which fits her perfectly.

I decided not to make the side pockets for I thought the simple line of the pocketless tunic would suit my slightly chubby Angélique better! My sixteen year old daughter has now requested the woman’s version - Lady Bulle - and I look forward to making both that and another smaller version for Angélique again.
