Notes

We’ve been chasing the sun for days now but to no avail! My Sugar Plum Driftwood has to contend with mist and cloud! What you cannot see in these pictures is the heavenly drape of the Pashmina yarn. This wrap is a joy to wear. The combination of silk, merino and cashmere makes this knit a little luxury!

The pattern (chart-written only) is very clear to read and fortunately easy to memorize. The wrap is knit in three sections; the first and third are repeated several times whilst the middle section, where the wrap begins to widen (seen in the final photograph), is knit only once. I have noticed many knitters have chosen to lengthen the pattern by increasing the number of repeats of the first or final section. I increased it merely by one repeat of the final section. To be honest although this pattern is a delight I grew bored by the end perhaps because I have a preference for three-dimensional construction. Would I do it again? Yes, possibly.
