Notes

A charming top and a well-written pattern, which exists both in English and French, made for Angélique to wear at my father’s 90th birthday celebrations in England early November. Angélique is a tall 2-year old and I consequently made her the 4-year size. It’s always worth mentioning that French children sizes are a little smaller than British and American sizes.

The central garter stitch band on the bodice should be made up of five garter rows. I chose to make three rows instead. I would also recommend knitting the neckline and binding off fairly loosely to make it easy to slip the tunic off over your little girl’s head.

Madelinetosh Sock is, as usual, heavenly to knit with and very long-lasting! I fell for the charms of the autumnal shades of Amber Trinket which was perfect for our November party. All during the evening we saw and heard Guy Fawkes fireworks exploding into the sky. A wonderful memory.
