This was so fun to knit! It took me about four tries to get this thing started on dpns, but once I did it was fine. I thought the legs would be annoying and take forever but they were surprisingly easy (minus the tricky heel, but even that gets easier as you go along).

I love this guy.

EDIT 5/9: Okay, I couldn’t resist making tons of these! I got more confident as I went along and now I do believe I’m a socktopus-making expert. Added a loop to the back for the ones that are meant for babies. I think Vanna’s Choice is a REALLY good yarn for baby toys-- the orange ones feel very sturdy and tough. Also I know I probably should have made other expressions but HOW CUTE ARE THOSE LITTLE FACES?
