So the hat itself is Hopeful Honey’s pattern (http://www.hopefulhoney.com/2014/09/frozen-princess-elsa-...). Except I used an H hook and stopped my increase at row7 and I believe I only did 17rows.
For the bun I used an F hook and started with 6sc into magic ring and increased normally until I had 24 stitches. I believe I did 2 more rows then decreased to 18 stitches. Stuffed and sewed onto hat.
For the yellow bow I did a chainless dc foundation row to fit and sew around the bun. They repeated the chainless dc foundation for the bow.
For the curls I used Fiber Flux’s “How to Crochet A Curlicue” (http://www.fiberfluxblog.com/2012/07/how-to-crochet-curli...), again with less of an increase to produce a softer curl.
The hair was several strains at 36” I believe alternating with 2strains in one stitch and 1 in the next all the way around the hat. Then just styled it to look like Belle’s hair.
