Decided to scratch the ripple pattern and do a granny square blanket. My first square was 9” so my plan is to make the blanket with 24 squares which should make it approximately 36”x54”. I’m planning on making a total of four different color combinations. Each combo will consist of 6 squares. Color combo #1 squares completed: 3

All squares completed! All that’s left is joining and doing the border (thank goodness I weaved in the ends as I went along).

I’m finally finished! I was getting so exhausted working on this project but I like how it turned out. I considered doing one more row of the border but decided that I liked how it looked decided to stop. Now just to send this off to my mom. I’ll post completed pictures tomorrow when it’s light.
