723 stitches when cast off. 363 stitches total when starting chart 3. Did all the charts and did 27 repeats. I am not handling a crochet hook well that is why my 14 year old daughter did the crochet bind off. The bind of really does the entire shawl. Love the outcome but am not loving to slip, k2tog, psso in every row.

Knitted it while visiting northern norway on vacation.

Used 125 grams of yarn.

I tried to block it with just pins… I did it outside and the shawl dried before I was halfway finished. I used about 2 hours to pin the 240+ loops at the edge and left ut overnight outside to dry since I do have a dog and didn’t want hair on it. Little did I know it would start to rain and my husband let the dog out - and he WALKED over my shawl! GAAAAH!
So we took out the pins (hubby had to help since it was partly his fault) and I washed the shawl once more and decided to use blocking wires. I have never used them before and think I could have spreaded the loops out more but lets see when it is of the blockingmat.
