I don’t think one skein wollmeise is enough for this shawl so luckily I have two skeins.

Using DPN’s on the lace boarder - I think it is easier that way.

Hmm there are different symbols in the chart for RS and WS. I am using color in my chart to mark out the knit 2 together - since / on right side and \ on the wrong side means knit 2 together (and visa versa on the SSK)

There is no need for two row counters since each repeat of the lace edging is easy to count. But I really need the counter for the rows in each repeat - and after 48 repeats I still dont remember the chart.

42 grams used on the lace edging. I binded off like I normally do a shawl - ssk and knit through back loop.

I have 114 grams left in the skein - that means this skein weigh 156 when I started.

I had 63 grams left after finishing rock island chart. I ran out of yarn when I had 55 stitches in total on the needles and I didn’t want to break a second skein just for a few grams - so I used my Mauerblumchen lace (held double) for the rest of the shawl. A slight differense in color since my lacegarn has less sand, but when held double I got more sand in a way. It is almost midnight and since it is dark outside it looks now that I can not tell where I started knitting lace instead of superwash.

I used 7 grams of lace and 156 grams of superwash.
