CO 64 sts for the cuff. Increased to 71 sts and started knitting according to charts.

Started thumb gusset in row 16. (If I had started the gussets in row ~25 like other knitters, the mittens would have turned out too short for my hands.) Added three extra stitches in the inside of the thumbs. Knitted thumbs shorter than in the charts leaving out 5 rows (upper windows).

Made two similar starts, cause I thought there was only one possible place to begin the gussets, knitted the smaller buildings, then switched the charts with each other. (Didn’t think of knitting the other mitten as a mirror image until it was too late.. ;oP )

Mittens are ~10 cm in width, total length is 27 cm. Length of the 90 rows of chart is 22 cm, and from the thumb gusset upwards 18 cm.

Total use of yarn 68 g (28+40).
