This will do nicely for ferry knitting

15th August - cast on for the large size this afternoon at spinning group. Not expecting to make rapid progress as this is now the second of two “ferry knitting” projects and I rarely head into town.

16th August - knitted a little more last night and am wondering how I am going to keep my hands off this project. It is knitting up so much better than I expected, even after having done the swatch. I am very pleased with my yarns. Very pleased indeed. The cowl is going to have a wonderful handle and drape.

21st August - about to commence the edging

Took First Prize at t he 2014 Sanday Show for Item Knitted From Handspun. Possibly also should have the best Knitted Exhibit prize which was seemingly awarded to my Capucine Hat - a mistake?
