I was cleaning out (up) my craft closet and ran across my “I taught myself knitting - copyright 2012” book and saw this pattern. I would have never attempted it back when I bought the kit but now I can. It is such a pretty pattern.

I increased the center section to be 19 1/2 inches instead of 17 (before blocking). 17 seemed too small. Next time I make this scarf I will make one half of it…leave the stitches live and make another half and then graph them together behind the neck for perfectly matching sides.
