Notes

Knitting with Sock Hop held doubled, which makes a light bulky yarn. The total weight of this project was 57 g, which I calculate to be 67 yards of the doubled yarn, or a bit over half a skein of Sock Hop.

I cast on 27 stitches instead of 33 because I was using larger needles and yarn; however given my big hands sticking with the pattern may have been better. In any case, the lovely 2-1 ribbing is very forgiving, and they fit fine.

And I ended up giving them away anyway, to someone who was so exited to get them that I am so happy I made them into a gift.

A quick little project. I suspect I will be making more of these, especially for myself!

I designed the Two-One Cowl to go with these mitts. Also matches my Handspun Lichen Cowl and Handspun Turn-a-Square.
