Cast on Sept 20, 2021. Got gauge on US 5s. Making the adult size.

I finished the first hat - did all the decreases, just didn’t snip the yarn - and decided it wasn’t as slouchy as I’d like. I frogged back down to right before the decreases and think I’ll knit to about 8 inches from the CO edge before starting decreases.

Also, I’d used less than 40% of the yarn, so I have enough to make two hats.

Finished the first hat on Oct 1. It’s super cute! Reminds me a bit of my Spirograph hat, which is one of my favorites, just more blue and more intense.

Started the second hat Oct 2 and finished Oct 12. 100.7 g, 267 yards out.

Jess picked out the one with the darker brim, and Angela the one with the lighter brim, for New Year’s 2023.
