I swatched on US 6s and was getting 5 sts/inch. Cast on using US 5s on Oct 21, 2021 on a road trip back from the coast. I knit 2x2 ribbing for 3 inches, then switched to the US 6s when I switched to stockinette.

Knit the largest size - 120 sts, knit to almost 7.5 inches before starting the decreases. Depthwise, this is a good size for me - there’s a loose fit, but I wouldn’t call it slouchy.

First hat finished Nov 3, 2021. 55.8 g out for the first hat, 120 yards. 59.4 g of yarn remain. Enough for another hat! Goodie.

Cast on Nov 5, 2021. Going for one size smaller because the brim was pretty loose on me. 112 sts.

I ended up knitting until 8 inches from the cast-on edge for this one because I wasn’t paying close attention, and also allowed me to get all the way through the purple stripes before starting the decreases. I really like how this one fits!

55.3 g used, 119 yards, 3.6 g remain.
