I cast on about six more stitches than the pattern called for, which meant I did three decrease repeats rather than the 4 the pattern called for. (I did this by mistake.) The “sudden decreasing” called for in the pattern still yielded a curved-in peak, rather than a pointy one, even though I decreased by a factor of three stitches per row rather than four. I ended up using all 100m of my yarn, rather than the lengths called for in the pattern.
