Notes

I used all of the yarn to produce 17 squares of “Mallard Wood,” 19 squares of “Vintage White,” and 18 squares of “Dark Grey.” The variations of lengths are likely due to inconsistent gauge or the product was sold by weight rather than length. (Nevertheless, I had enough grey to do nearly all sewing, but barely enough Mallard Wood and no Vintage White to complete the sewing.)

The squares were sewn together with whatever scrap yarn I had from this project in a whipstitch technique, alternating sewing on the right side and wrong side of the blanket per row. (This resulted in an “folded-then-unfolded piece of paper” look.)

The granny squares were crocheted four rows deep, or 4 double-crochet x 4 double-crochet. The project was 6 squares x 9 squares that measures roughly 40”x60” (102cm x 151cm)
