I started and finished this project while on vacation to Glimmerglass Opera Festival. It was a quick knit! I packed a set of fast-moving circular needles to make this project ultra portable.

The pattern was modified from the original by making a taper on the finishing end. Rather than increasing by two every fourth row, I decreased in the same places until I had 10 stitches remaining, just like the pattern started.
