This simple pattern came together very quick. I thought it would come out a little too tight for me – i’m a 6’3” dude with a 23” head – but I am happy with the way it drapes as is. I purposefully took a relative-to-me loose gauge for the bottom color. (I cast on white, switched to green, finished with red.)

CO 80 on 16” size 11’s. Join in round, mark beginning of round.
Row 1: * k2, p2, rep from *
Row 2: * p1, k2, p1, rep from *

Repeat these two rows for 16 total rows per color, then bind off.
