Finally, after about 3 years I am knitting again and if feels Great! I stopped because of major life changes (left the church, started working….I don’t know..it was stressful). Starting again because of the even more stressful time that has begun. My 14y/o DD was diagnosed with leukemia on Jan 15th, 2012. Life is on hold, a new one begun. I live at the hospital and sleep/eat at Ronald McDonald House. I will be here for about 6 months. Let’s see what I can accomplish in that time.

This was the perfect project to start with on this cancer journey. It has been cold in London and my Clap is always close. I am on my third shawl project since with a about 2 months of hospital time to go. The knitting and the my daughter’s treatment are going according to plan and that is the best we could ever hope for.
