It’s a miracle! My first sweater made for me that fits nicely! :) I love the yarn, and the pattern.

As of Aug 14, I have front and back completed and blocked, shoulders seamed, right sleeve done and sew in place with the entire right side and sleeve seam done! Woo hoo! And it FITS! The sleeve cap set in perfectly -- very well designed.

My mods: longer skirt (12 repeats) for body and sleeves; lace section longer on sleeves (for symmetry).

I think I will do a crochet edging on the V-neck and collar -- it feels a little unfinished and fragile as-is.

I had some trouble with the written-out lace pattern for the waist section. I translated it to a chart and pinpointed my mistakes! All is well again.

Finally trying again with the Merrywether Andean silk (had to rip out entire other sweater due to bad bad fit).
