Love love love this yarn!
Mind you - all the merino/cashmere lovers might find it too rough… but for 100% pure Shetland wool this is wonderfully airy and soft and very light-weight!
Perfect for a longer garment that has great stitch definition and that wont hang limp and shapeless (as can happen with some super-soft but heavier yarns like merino).

I have played quite a lot with this one and it was a fun knit in the end…
…now the (less fun) pattern-writing shall begin!

Thankfully I was able to take some modelled pictures today… although it was a little bit gloomy - it kind of adds to the design in my opinion!

And the “complicated” shape of the bottom part reminded me of the elaborate wing shape of the Egyptian scarabeus - so the name-giving-promblem was kind of settled.
