Hand-spun on CPW… Shetland Sample Rita 2011 with I cord trim of Dahlia. When washing the mittens for blocking, I used a scrub brush to raise the nap slightly.

I knit these mittens during Hurricane Irene. The applied I cord trim over the split cuff offers a nice detail to an otherwise simple pattern.

Endless Mountains Fiber Festival 2011 in Hartford, PA is having a mitten contest. I plan to enter these mittens into the competition.
