UPDATE 2 September 2016
After a long and difficult labour (grins), this pattern is at long last finished and available to buy on Ravelry. Many thanks to all who were involved in various stages of testing and proofing. I have learnt so much!

This project was knitted from an earlier version of the pattern, and the trim has now been simplified. While it still curls over and snaps back when unrolled, the right side of the trim is now the knit side, not the purl side as shown in the photos in this project.
