Notes

I am in need of baby blankets with a huge baby boom amongst my friends. I am in love with this pattern. I think this will become a staple in my pattern rotation. I haven’t decided on a third colour, or if I will have a third colour yet. This can also easily be used for boys or girls. Love it.

I started this blanket with one full skein of aran, and some leftover from a larger skein. I would totally recommend just buying 2 7oz skeins and that should be plenty. I did wind up doing more rows as my gauge was off and I didn’t feel like going up to a J to to get the gauge right. But I tend to crochet rather tightly so I already figured my gauge would be off.
