The photo on this pattern is small and hard to make out, but I’m in a fever of knitting cabled hats, so I had to make it. The pattern is written to be knit flat and seamed, but I thought it would be easy enough to make it in the round. I had to delete the 2 seam sts, and I added more sts so the hat would be a bit larger - no problem there. But the decreasing at the top was very poorly done - no attempt was made to incorporate the cables into the decreases - the cables just stopped and there was plain knitting until the decreases were finished. Looks pretty bad, IMO.

I will not make this hat again as there are plenty of quite lovely hats out there that work a lot better all the way thru.
